Excite Audio describes the instrument as covering a wide range of contemporary bass styles. The library includes Reese-style Drum and Bass basses, 303-style acid sounds, distorted growls, sub-bass, tech bass and dubstep wobbles.

All 112 included samples are royalty-free. Eight sample banks group the sounds by bass type, so you can switch styles within one instrument.

Choose a key, pick a preset or bank, and trigger one of 14 BPM-synced loops across two octaves. White keys play samples and black keys adjust playback speed and pitch, trigger sequences and modulate effects.

Four macros control Sub-EQ, Noise, Crush and Width. The Phrase Player sequences samples with Rate, Latching and Swing controls. The Edit page offers start and end markers, playback direction and speed, choke groups, and pitch and formant settings. You can also import up to 112 of your own samples.
