Bass Sounds, Sequencing and Sound Shaping
The instrument is built on bass samples recorded from electric bass performances, including slap, fingerstyle and picked playing styles, plus muted one-shot articulations. Phrase Player sequencing lets you trigger and draw sample sequences and modulations, and the Edit page offers start and end point control, playback speed and direction, and pitch and formant adjustment.
Five main FX parameters (Filter, Speaker, Dynamics, Lo-Cut and Hi-Cut) and four macros (Tube, Digital, Sub-EQ and Realism) help shape the sound. Five factory modifiers, including Half-time, Double-Time and Reverse, and five custom modifiers add rhythmic variation.
