Shaping the Crush: Push-Pull Graph and Silky Control
The push-pull graph is the core of Bite Harder. It lets you choose which frequency ranges get crushed, so you can target specific bands instead of the whole signal. Automating the graph can produce bit-crushed lines that change over time and steep curves for resonant, screaming tones. A Solo function lets you audition individual bands while you set the graph.
The Silky control smooths the output of the bit and sample reduction. Lower it for harsher, grittier results, or raise it to make the crushed sound more delicate, rounder and warmer in the high end. The Reduce and Resample controls set bit depth and sample rate independently, and the Clipper adds dirt and saturation on top.
