Gating, De-Bleeding and Transient Control in One Plugin
poltergate puts three jobs into one processor. The gate handles noise reduction and separation, and the de-bleeder works from the same threshold, so you can set both at once rather than adjusting them separately.
Denise Audio built its own de-bleeding algorithm for the plugin. It is controlled by three knobs and is designed to keep spill from cymbals or low-end rumble from toms out of the signal while keeping the punch and resonance of the drum.
The dynamics section combines limiting, clipping and transient shaping. You can exaggerate the attack or the body of a sound, and push into clipping for a more distinct character.
