AmpliTube MESA/Boogie 2 is a gear collection for AmpliTube 5, built around MESA/Boogie amplifiers. It includes four officially certified amp models and five officially certified cabinets, all modeled to match their hardware counterparts. IK Multimedia says the models were developed with MESA engineering, who reviewed and approved the sound. The collection works with the AmpliTube 5 Custom Shop and does not require a previous version of AmpliTube.
The collection includes the Mark IIC+, Mark V, California Tweed and Triple Crown amps. The cabinets are a 1x12 California Tweed, a 2x12 California Tweed, a 2x12 RoadKing, a 4x12 RoadKing Black and a 4x12 RoadKing Vintage.
Two extra speakers, the American J40 and American J100, can be swapped into any cabinet. IK Multimedia notes that the speaker options include Jensen and Celestion designs.
