AmpliTube Leslie is a gear collection for the AmpliTube Custom Shop, developed by IK Multimedia with Hammond USA and Suzuki Music Corp. of Japan. Sound and Character of the Leslie Models

IK Multimedia states that its Leslie models are sound-certified and approved by Leslie. The developer describes the amp circuits as a key part of the signature tone, especially when the amp circuit is overdriven, a common sound in rock and blues.

The cabinet models aim to reproduce the rotating-speaker effects that occur during rotor movement, including the Doppler effect, variable delay, frequency and phase response, and reverberation inside the cabinet walls. Horn and drum microphones are recorded in stereo, so each can be balanced and widened separately.

Controls for Mic Setup and Rotary Speed

The advanced view offers Mic Setup, Mic Distance, Slow and Fast speed, and Acceleration and Deceleration. Mic Setup lets you choose a 90º or 180º microphone position, which changes both the timbre and the perceived rotation.

The mixer includes two stereo tracks, one for horn and one for drum microphones, with width and volume controls. Controls are split across three pages: Setup, Channels and EQ, while the speed controller stays visible at all times for quick access.
