AmpliTube 5 Upgrade: Guitar and Bass Amp Simulator by IK Multimedia

AmpliTube 5 Upgrade covers the full guitar and bass signal path, from stomp boxes through amps and cabinets to microphones and rooms. The catalog includes 47 stomp boxes, 34 amps, 27 cabinets, 14 speakers, 11 microphones, 36 rack effects and 8 rooms.

Cabinet emulation uses VIR (Volumetric Impulse Response) technology, with up to 600 impulse responses per speaker. You can also load your own impulse responses. Dynamic response modeling simulates the interactions between amplifiers, speakers, cabinets, rooms and microphones, which IK Multimedia describes as capturing the feel of the gear rather than only its static sound.

Up to 57 effects, 3 cabinets and 3 amps can run at the same time. Rack and stomp box effects can be exchanged, and routing is flexible for both stomp boxes and rack effects.

The stereo signal path, dual miking and a mixer for microphone, room and DI signals give you control over how the tone is captured and balanced. The scalable user interface and the option to add modules through the Custom Shop suit both studio work and live performance.
