Distortion modes and speaker emulation

UFX DISTORT includes 20 distinct distortion algorithms. They range from tube drive and a classic stomp-box style Screamer to Tape Saturation, Waveshape, Ring Modulation and Inharmonic processing.

A Clean Bass mode keeps the low end clean while distorting the rest of the signal. Multiband Spread and Multiband Dense process several frequency bands separately, with one spreading them across a wide range and the other concentrating them in the midrange.

The plugin also includes 24 built-in speaker emulations, from old radios to guitar amp cabinets, which you can use to shape the distorted signal.

Filter, Finisher and randomization

Both the distorted signal and the dry input can be sent into the Filter section, which offers basic EQs and synth filters. The Finisher section adds effects ranging from a simple chorus to a cloud of grains and rhythmification.

The Filter section includes 40 algorithms and the Finisher section includes 50. The plugin also ships with 150+ categorized presets, and its randomization control, adjustable with the Small/Big control, produces variations from subtle changes to entirely new presets.
