UFX DISTORT: Multi-Mode Distortion Effect Plugin by UJAM

The 20 modes cover a wide range of tones. Tube Drive and Bad Tube address classic vacuum tube overdrive, while Screamer is a stompbox-style distortion. Guitar Amp, Fuzz and Hard Clipping target guitar and bass, and Tape Saturation and Preamp Saturation add warmth.

For more creative work, Foldback and Rectify push the signal into harsher territory, Ring Modulation adds amplitude modulation with added grit, and Inharmonic shifts all frequencies away from their original positions. Clean Bass keeps the low end clean while distorting the rest of the signal.

The distorted signal, or the dry input when bypassing distortion, can be routed into a Filter section with 40 algorithms, including basic EQs and synth filters. A Finisher section offers 50 algorithms, from a simple chorus to granular clouds and rhythmic effects.

The plugin's randomization feature generates variations on a button press. The Small/Big control sets how far the results move from the current sound, from subtle changes to entirely new distortion settings.
