Wood and Bamboo Percussion Sounds
The core of the library is a set of mallet hits recorded with wood and bamboo mallets. Up to three velocity layers and up to three round robin repetitions give each hit some variation when played repeatedly, which helps avoid the static, machine-like repetition common to simple sample playback.
The set also includes glissandos running up and down at three speeds, as well as slides. These are useful for adding quick rising or falling figures to a part without programming them note by note.
Slowed-down samples are included for wooden and airy textures, giving you material that sits closer to ambient or atmospheric beds than to pitched melodic playing.
