Sound and Character of the Toy Keyboard Samples
The instrument is built from 248 samples recorded at 44.1 kHz and 24-bit resolution. The developer describes it as a toy keyboard with a lo-fi, small-speaker character, which fits 8-bit and chiptune styles.
A low-pass filter with a single pole is included to cut unwanted noise from the original samples. It is a simple filter, so it works best for taming hiss and harshness rather than for sweeping tonal shaping.
