01Overview

ToneKnob TinyAmp puts four guitar amp channels behind one knob. Each quarter of the knob sweep selects a channel, and a colored light ring shows which one is active. The developer positions the plugin for fast demos, hotel sessions and capturing ideas quickly, rather than as a replacement for full amp rigs or high-gain emulators. It includes built-in ambience, a tuner, a calibration control, a tilt EQ and a cabinet simulation with support for external IR loaders.

Four channels and how they sound

The White channel is a clean amp tuned to work across guitars and pickups. It starts thick and rounded, and turning the knob brightens it toward a chimey tone with a touch of tube-style saturation.

The Blue channel adds touch-sensitive overdrive with bluesy grit, suited to blues riffs and crunchy rock chords. The Yellow channel targets classic rock and metal crunch with a Marshall-style midrange. The Red channel is the highest-output setting, designed for heavy riffs and cutting solos. Audified notes that TinyAmp is not primarily a high-gain plugin, but the Red channel is built for hard rock and metal.

Extra controls and cabinet options

Under the service-wrench icon in the top toolbar, the Room control adds a studio-style ambience. The Tuner offers reference pitch from 415 to 455 Hz, with 440 Hz as the default. Calibration works as a gain control for the overall saturation, and the tilt EQ gives quick bass and treble adjustment.

Cabinet simulation includes one IR-captured guitar cab by default. To use your own impulse responses, bypass the built-in cab and insert an IR loader after TinyAmp.
