Amp Tone, Cabinets and Microphones

Caliburn is built around three amp models inspired by Marshall JTM45, JCM800 and JCM900 Master Volume designs. Each amp offers a Clean and a Lead channel, so you can move between chimey clean sounds and crunchy high-gain tones within one instance.

The cabinet section includes five types with Celestion speakers: G12T, Vintage 30 and Greenback. Seven workhorse microphones are available, among them the Shure SM57, Sennheiser MD421 and MD441, Royer 121, AKG C414 and Neumann TLM103. Dual-miking is freely adjustable, with mono or stereo configurations and a mix option.

Controls, Processing and Interface

New in this version are a power amp Bias and Sag feature, plus high pass and low pass filters for trimming the signal. A built-in noise gate and limiter are included in the chain.

The interface is designed to be straightforward, with photorealistic graphics. Oversampling is supported up to 8x, which can be useful when you want to reduce aliasing at higher settings.
