TIME FACTORY II includes five stretching algorithms: MPEX 2, MPEX 3, ZTX, quickStretch and ClearScale. Each one has its own parameters and suits different material, so you can choose one based on the signal type and the result you want.

The application lets you enter a stretch factor as BPM, seconds, sample frames or FPS, and it includes algorithm parameters for speech, complex material, and monophonic or polyphonic music. Zynaptiq says its high-precision math keeps timing accurate on very long tracks.

TIME FACTORY II is built around a batch processing engine, so you can set parameters, start processing and work on other tasks while the files are processed. Factory presets cover common jobs such as 3:2 pull-down, PAL and NTSC frame rate conversion, double speed and half speed. You can also save your own presets for repeated tasks.

The application reads and writes AIFF, WAV, BWF with metadata preservation, CAF, WAVE64, MBWF/RF64 and SoundDesigner II files. It supports sample rates up to 384kHz and bit depths up to 32 bit.
