Delay colors and modes

Ripple gives you five delay colors: digital, tape, pedal, disk and lo-fi. Each is meant to capture the character of a sought-after hardware sound.

The classic feedback loop covers traditional delay work. The Repeat mode is a programmable mode for building custom echo patterns, which suits rhythmic or irregular repeats.

The plugin also includes a 500 series-style FX Rack with Ensemble, Phaser, Pitch and Reverb modules. The modules can be reordered by drag and drop.

Dynamics, modulation and creative controls

Gate and duck controls work on both the send and the return of the delay. You can hold delay levels down during quiet passages or duck them under loud sections to keep a mix clean.

Two LFOs can be assigned to most parameters, including FX Rack modules, delay time and repeat amount, for evolving textures without manual automation.

KILL and THROW controls add delay throws and cuts that can be automated inside the plugin. The Anti-Doppler control reduces the pitch shift usually caused by Doppler effects, which keeps stutter effects from sounding like chipmunks.
