The most notable addition is dynamic noise profiles in DeNoise 2. Earlier versions captured a static noise print, while the new profiles measure the statistics of the noise itself, which helps with noise that varies over time, such as wind noise or lavalier rustle.

DeNoise 2, DeClick 2 and DeHum 2 now offer Mid/Side processing, which can reduce unwanted fluctuations in the stereo image. DeHum 2 adds an automatic fine-tune button that estimates the hum fundamental frequency, and DeClick 2 is designed to preserve transients at higher click sensitivities.

DeNoise 2 reduces hiss, wind noise, buzz and camera noise in adaptive mode or after noise analysis, with transient detection and temporal smoothing to limit musical noise artifacts. A Solo Noise mode lets you hear the removed signal.

DeHum 2 targets hum and buzz from poorly grounded electrical equipment and tonal noise such as motor noise. It can remove up to 96 harmonics and offers an adaptive mode for fluctuating fundamental frequencies. DeClick 2 handles clicks, crackle, thumps and plosives, and DeClip 2 reconstructs peaks distorted by analog or digital clipping.
