Additive Oscillators and Vintage Character
Each voice has an additive wavetable oscillator with 16, 32 or 64 partials. Every partial has its own level slider, and preset buttons provide common waveforms as starting points. Partial levels can be randomized for unusual timbres.
The noise sources use white noise in normal operation and shift-register noise in vintage mode. Vintage modes add digital artefacts and distortion, and can be engaged separately for each oscillator and noise source. Cross modulation lets the voices' oscillators modulate each other's frequencies, a nod to the NED Synclavier, and either voice can be muted and used only as a modulator.
