01Overview

Super 8 is built around the warm, retro character of vintage polysynths, with a modern interface for adjusting them. Its two oscillators can each blend up to four waveforms, and you can add FM for a more digital edge. The filter, envelope and modulation sections are set up for quick changes. The plugin ships with 550+ presets covering strings, pads, basses, leads, percussion and effects. Oscillators, Filters and Modulation for Tweaking Sounds

Super 8 uses two oscillators with up to four blended waveforms each. You can mix the oscillators, sync them, and add FM oscillation. The filter offers low-pass, band-pass and high-pass modes, and ADSR sliders shape the filter and amplifier envelopes.

The modulation section includes one or more modulation waveforms, with adjustable speed and phase. Mod routing lets you map most sources to most destinations, so you can build movement into a patch without leaving the front panel.

Playing Super 8 with a MIDI Controller

Super 8 responds to your hardware's pitch wheel, mod wheel and touch strip, which helps with expressive leads and evolving textures. Parameters can be set directly from the front page. With a KOMPLETE KONTROL keyboard, automatic parameter mapping is available.

Real-time control covers pitch, modulation, filtering and keytracking, so changes can be made while you play.
