01Overview

MDynamics is a single-band dynamics processor built around a flexible level follower and a versatile side-chain. Its processing shape can be drawn by hand for more creative results, and it includes integrated parallel compression and adjustable channel linking. MeldaProduction also supports up to 8-channel surround processing, so the plugin covers stereo mixing as well as multichannel work. The plugin is available in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats for Windows and macOS.

Level Follower and Side-Chain Options

The envelope follower offers automatic release modes, peak hold, adjustable RMS length, look-ahead, psycho-acoustic prefiltering, custom attack and release shapes, and spectral smoothing. These controls let you adapt the detector to different material.

The side-chain can do more than follow the input level. It can filter the signal with a simple bandpass or a fully featured 6-band equalizer, or use another signal from the side-chain as the control source.

Workflow, Modulation and Presets

MDynamics includes four multiparameters, modulators, and MIDI controllers with MIDI learn. Smart randomisation can generate new settings to explore. Automatic gain compensation and a safety limiter help keep level changes under control while you adjust.

The interface is stylable and resizable and uses GPU acceleration. Visualisation includes classic meters and time graphs. Global preset management and online preset exchange are included.
