MEqualizerLP: Multi-Band EQ Plugin by MeldaProduction Free Download

The plugin gives you three equalization algorithms with approximately the same frequency response: a true bidirectional filtering algorithm, an FFT algorithm and a standard minimum-phase equalizer. The developer describes bidirectional filtering as the most accurate option with the lowest noise ratio. An adjustable up-sampling setting from 1x to 4x is available to reduce aliasing.

Each band has seven filter types: peak, low-shelf, high-shelf, low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and notch. Q ranges from 0.05 to 10. All band parameters can be adjusted directly on the frequency response graph, with enable, Q and actual source level indication shown in the graph.

The integrated spectral analyzer includes a sonogram with super-resolution, which gives higher resolution in the bass range, and deharmonization, which makes it easier to read fundamental frequencies. An integrated tube saturation stage adds a vintage analogue character when you want it.

For workflow, MIDI learn lets you map any parameter to a MIDI controller and automate it, and all parameters are automatable. Global preset management lets you save settings for use across projects, and the interface can be resized and styled. Processing covers mono, stereo and up to 8 surround channels.
