01Overview

MTransient targets drums and other rhythmic material that sounds dull or lacking in punch. The plugin detects transients in your audio and raises or lowers them, so you can increase attack or soften it. A saturation system adds texture and a tube-style analog character to the signal. It handles mono, stereo, mid/side, separate channels and surround layouts of up to 8 channels, with a trial available.

Simple Transient Control with Saturation

The core control is an attack setting. Turn it up to bring out transients in drum and percussion tracks, or turn it down to tame them.

MeldaProduction says the built-in saturation system can make transients more textural and adds a pleasant analog character. A tube saturation simulator is also included for vintage warmth and high-end sparkle.

MTransient includes both an Easy screen with predefined modes and a few controls, and an Edit screen that exposes the full feature set.

Workflow Features for Mixing and Surround

MTransient offers 16x upsampling, with minimum-phase and linear-phase algorithms to reduce aliasing in nonlinear processing. Mid/side processing, separate left and right channels, and up to 8 channels of surround audio are supported.

Automatic gain compensation keeps output loudness close to input loudness when you change settings or browse presets. A safety limiter keeps the output below 0 dB.

Multiparameters let you control several settings at once, and MIDI Learn maps controllers and keyboards to parameters in real time. A-H presets allow quick comparisons.
