Sound, Circuit Emulation and Patching
Softube says each analog module was modeled component by component and that the resulting plug-ins are sonically indistinguishable from their hardware counterparts. The developer describes the emulation as dynamic, so the modules respond to input the way their hardware versions do.
Patching works as it does on a physical Eurorack system. You add modules, connect them with virtual patch cords and adjust knobs and switches. Modular can run as an effect or as an instrument in your DAW, and its high internal sample rate allows true feedback patches.
The Performance modules let you assign a limited set of knobs and buttons to any parameter in the current patch, which makes live tweaking simpler.
