Sound Shaping and Processing Paths
The processing is split into two bands. The low band handles kick and toms, while the mid/high band covers snare, hats and toms. Each band has its own distortion, dynamics and tonal controls, so you can treat the low end and the top end of a kit differently.
The parallel distortion architecture blends clean and distorted signals. Several saturation paths let you move from subtle enhancement to heavier distortion. Filter sculpting with high-pass and low-pass filters shapes the distortion itself, and smart phase alignment keeps the dry, distorted and filtered signals coherent when they are summed.
A 3-band output EQ, a Tilt EQ in the mid/high section and a signal path clipper with RMS boost give final control over tone and loudness before the signal leaves the plugin.
