How Trackspacer Carves Space in a Mix
Trackspacer uses a 32-band EQ that reacts to the incoming sidechain signal. It analyzes the sidechain spectrum and applies the inverse of that curve to another track, cutting the frequencies the sidechain source needs.
This makes it useful for clearing room for a vocal, a lead or a solo without hand-drawn automation. Wavesfactory positions it as an alternative to sidechain compression, with the detection based on frequency content rather than overall level.
The main control is a large centered knob that sets the amount of reduction. Additional parameters let you go deeper into the processing.
