Granular Sound Shaping and Pitch Control

Lucid's real-time granular engine breaks an incoming sound into grains and rebuilds them into new textures. Grain scale-lock automatically tunes every grain to the key and scale you select, which keeps pitch-shifted material in key.

Granular timeline sync lets you stretch, freeze, snap and scrub audio while staying locked to your timeline. Per-grain processing adds a multi-mode filter with drive and modulation, so each grain can be shaped independently.

The dynamic grain imager generates stereo movement directly from the grains, and the animator pad lets you control several parameters at once with an XY performance surface.

Harmonies, Chords and Arpeggios

The harmonic grain delay creates scale-locked shimmer, harmonies and arpeggiated spaces. Grain chord and arp modes turn a single sound into chords, harmonies and evolving arpeggios.

Lucid includes a preset library of 350 presets with searchable tags and performance-ready macros, which gives you a starting point before you edit the grain settings yourself.
