Multi-Band Compression Controls and Workflow

Fuse Compressor gives you up to six bands of independent upward and downward compression. Per-band controls cover threshold, ratio, makeup gain, bypass and solo, so you can shape each frequency range on its own.

The macro controls adjust all per-band thresholds or ratios together. This lets you use the plugin much like a conventional compressor before you move into band-by-band detail.

The dynamic spectrum display shows the response curve across the frequency range, so you can see how compression is distributed as you adjust the settings. Spectral tilt shifts the distribution of compression between low and high frequencies. Adaptive time sets attack and release for each band.

Stereo Modes and Presets

Fuse Compressor supports stereo and mid-side modes, and variable channel linking lets you control how the stereo image is treated. Soft knee is also included for smoother gain reduction.

The plugin includes a library of presets covering use cases from transparent mixing to more aggressive, over-the-top compression. Built-in tooltips explain the controls inside the interface.
