01Overview

Lifeline EQ is built around a classic parametric layout: two bell bands and two shelf or cut filters, covering low cut or shelf, low-mid, high-mid and high cut or shelf. Excite Audio gives it three circuit modes, so the same controls can produce a clean, precise correction or a coloured boost with added harmonics. A scalable display from 3 dB to 30 dB lets you switch between fine tonal adjustments and broader shaping, and the plugin reports zero latency.

Tonal Shaping with Three EQ Circuits

The Gain mode is the clean option for straightforward EQ moves. Vintage Circuit mode adds extra harmonics when you boost, which can give a signal more drive and presence. Dirty Circuit mode pushes into saturation and distortion for more aggressive coloration.

Excite Audio positions the range from subtle tone shaping to strong harmonic enhancement. Switching circuits lets you choose between transparent correction and character within the same four-band layout.

Controls and Workflow

Each of the four bands is parametric, so you can set frequency, gain and bandwidth per band. Input and output gain controls help manage level as you work. A global bypass makes before-and-after comparison quick, and the interface can be resized to suit your screen.

The plugin includes 50 presets as starting points for common tasks. Because it reports zero latency, it can be used during tracking and monitoring as well as in the mix.
