Kit Building and Sound Control
The instrument is built around mixing and matching elements. There are 7 snares, 4 toms and 2 kick options, and you can combine dampened or open versions of the kick and snare with four distinct snare tunings. Just Add Drums describes the samples as multi-mic and mix-ready, with separate control over close, overhead and room channels.
A streamlined master section gives quick access to the overall sound, while deeper controls let you shape individual elements such as kick, snare, toms and cymbals. Every microphone channel can be adjusted, so the kit can move from heavy, aggressive tones to more natural, organic sounds.
