Drumline Sound and Recording Spaces
The core of the library is two marching snares and five tuned marching bass drums, captured with crescendo rolls and ensemble strikes. Soundiron says the indoor recordings were made in a wood, tile and fabric rehearsal hall, which gives the sound live room character. The outdoor recordings were made on a stadium field, so they are drier and include occasional stray sounds from the environment.
Because both spaces are available, you can pick the one that suits the track: the indoor set for a fuller, more reflective hit, or the outdoor set for a tight, direct attack with a bit of natural air around it.
