Grit Kit FX Drums: Kontakt Drum Kit Library by Soundiron

The core drum kit is a stereo jazz set with a warm character. Each layer has 12 round-robin variations and responds dynamically to how hard you play it, so repeated hits do not sound identical.

The 15 FX kits take that acoustic base and push it toward decayed, demolished and degraded sounds. Soundiron describes them as spanning lo-fi retro lounge combos, heavily overdriven kits and crisp stuttering glitch textures. Each kit offers sound-shaping controls so you can adjust how far the processing goes.

The Megamixer interface lets you combine any of the 352 sound sets in the library into custom eight-piece kits, and you can save and reload your builds. Core Kit Ensemble presets give quick access to each complete kit, and dual-layer tuned percussion presets layer sounds into chromatic instruments and effects.

Rack DSP effects include amp and cab simulation, compression, distortion, delay, EQ, filter, flange, phase, chorus and a range of convolution reverbs covering rooms, environments and special effects. The ARP meta-arpeggiation and EZ-roll system adds rhythmic and roll-based performance options.
