EQ and filter controls in FilterBank v7

The plugin combines high and low shelving EQ, a parametric EQ and lowpass, highpass, bandpass and band reject filters. Shelving bands offer independent control of frequency, gain, peak, slope and dip. The parametric EQ covers 20Hz to 21kHz, with bell bands up to five octaves wide, gain of plus or minus 12dB and Constant-Q technology.

Filter Q ranges from 0.2 to 12.0. The lowpass and highpass filters have adjustable slope and a resonant peak greater than 24 dB. Each EQ or filter band includes analog saturation modeling intended to prevent digital clipping, and up to 48 bands are available per MIX DSP.

Processing and compatibility

McDSP states that the plugin uses zero latency algorithms and double precision processing. Activation requires an iLok2 or iLok3 USB Smart Key, or a free iLok License Manager account with iLok Cloud. Each v7 plugin includes two activations per authorization.

The plugin is listed in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats for Windows and macOS, in 64-bit form only. The developer notes that VST is no longer supported from v7.0 onward, so check your host before installing.
