The four layers (A, B, C and D) can each house one of 250 sound sources or a synth oscillator. The sources cover acoustic, bass, impact, pluck, synth, texture and tuned foley categories.

Sampled sources offer play direction, tone and keytracking controls. Synth sources add an oscillator shape slider and unison detuning. The XY Pad works in Sounds mode to blend the four sources, or in FX mode to modulate any available parameter.

The dice buttons randomise a single layer or the whole instrument, including sound sources, parameters and effects.

The instrument provides 12 modulation sources, including six ADSR envelopes with delay and hold, two LFOs with retrigger and offset options, velocity and keytracking with adjustable curves, and the XY Pad position. A modulation matrix lists all assigned routings.

The four macros are Holo, Crust, Breeze and Erode. The developer describes Holo as a smeared, resonant shimmer, Crust as a dry, crunchy top texture, Breeze as a move from short movement into long tails, and Erode as a gradual loss of pitch and stability.
