Legato Transitions and Sound Character
Emma Legato is built on true legato sampling, which records the transitions between notes as well as the notes themselves. Sonora Cinematic describes the result as expressive and highly realistic performances.
The SPEED control sets how quickly notes glide into each other. You can set it manually for faster passages or slower, portamento-style lines. The AUTO setting adjusts the transition speed by note distance, so wider intervals glide more slowly. A keyswitch toggles AUTO on and off for changes during a passage.
