Delay types and character modes

The three delay types, Magnetic, Digital and Analog, form the core of the plugin. Each delay type includes additional character modes, so one tape style can produce several different sounds.

McDSP describes the collection as drawing on nearly two decades of gear modelling experience. The Synthetic Impulse Models (SIMs), more than 75 of them, are included with the plugin.

The interface uses highly stylized visual feedback and updated high definition user interfaces.

Controls, timing and routing

Beyond the delay types, the plugin offers adjustable saturation, wow and flutter, delay output ducking, in-loop filtering and EQ, and level control at the input and output stages.

The delay can run in single, dual or ping-pong mode. Timing can be set by tap tempo or synced to session playback, which keeps repeats locked to the project tempo.
