Envelope Ducking and Multiband Control in Duck 2
Duck 2 uses a multi-segment envelope with a choice of curve shapes. You can lock it to the beat like an LFO or trigger it from MIDI, a sidechain input or an audio input.
The multiband mode splits the signal into up to three bands, each with its own envelope. This allows tone-specific control, such as cleaning up a noisy kick tail or adjusting the decay of a chord stab.
Developers describe the envelope editor as having a faster interface, advanced curve shapes, randomise and workflow tools including undo and redo, copy and paste, and a paintbrush tool.
