Vintage Bell and Mallet Sound Design
Each instrument includes an editable Sample Start parameter, adjustable from the interface or the Mod Wheel, which lets you trim the initial transient while shaping the sound. An octave-down switch transposes every instrument down by one octave, a useful option for these sounds when played lower.
The noise slider adds cassette-style noise on top of the samples. Because the noise is a single shared layer rather than one copy per note, a five-note chord carries one noise sample instead of five stacked on top of each other. The noise level can be set independently and filtered, so it can be tuned without changing the instruments themselves.
