01Overview

StereoScope Multi is designed for mixing. Instead of checking one track at a time, you can display the stereo response of several tracks on the same screen and see which part of the stereo field each instrument occupies. The plugin supports up to 16 curves, showing instant, peak and average responses. Zoom and coordinate displays let you measure stereo characteristics for each track, and it can be placed inside an effect chain to check how processing affects the stereo image.

Comparing Stereo Image Across Multiple Tracks

Blue Cat Audio says StereoScope Multi uses the same stereo analysis algorithms as its StereoScope Pro plugin, but adds the ability to graph several tracks at once. Each track can have its own routing and analysis settings, so the parameters can be adapted to each signal you analyze.

Curves can be saved for A/B comparison, and the difference between two curves can be computed and displayed. This makes it practical to measure response curves or compare a mix before and after a change.

Detecting Phase and Mono Compatibility Issues

The plugin can be used to find phase cancellation and mono compatibility problems on multiple tracks or within an effect chain. Custom absolute and relative threshold controls let you set the level at which the analysis reacts.

The interface can be adjusted with opacity control, transparency management and animated zoom. Undo/redo, a built-in presets manager and copy/paste of plugin state between instances help keep sessions organized.
