Granular Sound Design and Texture Control
The Granulizer generates grains from the input and lets you modulate volume, pan, grain size, density, offset and playback direction. Offset sets the time between recording and playback, which lets you pull sounds from earlier in the signal. Shape controls the envelope of each grain, and Warmth adds distortion to the grains for a harder, more saturated character.
The Tune parameter can pitch grains up or down using modes such as Fine, Chromatic, Major, Minor, fifths, sevenths, octaves, and several chord-based options. The dice knobs set how much randomization is applied across these parameters.
