Asteroid is built around rhythm and effects design. Its 7-layer architecture lets you stack sounds drawn from orchestral percussion, electronic and acoustic drums, foley and found sounds. Each part carries multi-FX and six sequencer lanes, so you can shape rhythmic patterns and transitions in one place. The plugin is aimed at composers, sound designers and musicians working on film, games and music.
Asteroid gives you seven sample layers per part, each drawn from a wide range of sources. Within the editor you can sculpt each sound, place it spatially in the mix, and add multi-FX along with master EQ and dynamics.
The sequencer offers six lanes per part and 128 steps of velocity, pan, pitch, decay, reverb and delay. These parameters can be set separately for each track, which allows rhythmic patterns to develop and change over time.
The library includes hundreds of kits and sequenced presets, so you can start from a finished rhythm or effect and edit it. Presets are a practical starting point for building cinematic percussion, risers and transitions for film, game and music projects.
