Cello Sound and Articulations

The library contains 7 GB of original sample content, which is 14 GB uncompressed WAV. Solo articulations come in two character sets. The aggressive set includes legato, sustain, tenuto, staccato, tremolo, and long and short slides. The mellow set includes legato, sustain, tenuto, staccato and tremolo.

The rhythm articulations cover a wider range of textures, including sul pont, power chord, pizzicato choke and resonant, and several FX articulations such as growl, harmonics, col legno, ponticello sweeps and babylon.

Kontakt Workflow and Requirements

Artist Series - Apocalyptica is scripted for Native Instruments' Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) format and is fully encoded for the free Kontakt Player 6.7.1 or higher. The library includes custom amp and cab snapshots for quick tone shaping.

The system requirements are Mac OS X 10.12 or higher, or Windows 7 or later, with at least 2 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended) and 5 GB of free drive space. A 64-bit DAW is recommended for optimized performance.
