Legato and Articulation Control in CineWinds Core
Cinesamples says the Adaptive Legato Engine was carried over from its string and cello libraries and adjusts interval speed to match the player. Velocity can shape the attack of each note, with lower velocities producing slower attacks. The Volume Range setting controls how much CC1 affects volume, which helps when CC1 and CC11 are used together.
The True Legato patches sample intervallic leaps in both directions across each instrument's range, at three dynamic levels. Polyphonic Legato mode keeps transition samples between notes in lines of two or more notes, which is useful for chords that must connect smoothly.
The Articulations patches include shorts, sustains and trills in multiple dynamics. Five preset mappings are available, with a custom mapping grid for users who want to change individual parameters.
