Analog Empire: Pads & Strings focuses on warm, creamy pad and string textures inspired by classic analog synthesizers. Its sounds are built from multi-samples captured across multiple notes per octave with five velocity layers, which gives the instrument expressive, dynamic response when played. Each patch is designed to be quick to dial in, so producers can move from idea to a usable sound with little editing.
The plugin offers 32 pad and string sounds. You can choose any two of them for layers A and B and shape each layer separately with high-pass and low-pass filters, pitch, analog drift, unison and stereo voice panning.
The main blend knob moves between the two layers, while the FLOW and FADE controls modulate that blend to add movement over time. An analog-style multimode filter gives you further control over tone.
The FX section includes tremolo, phaser, flanger and chorus modulation effects, a shimmer reverb and a LoFi tape effect. A master section adds filtering, EQ, compression, a maximizer and stereo width control to help the sound sit in a mix.
The instrument supports MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE), so expressive controller data can be used during performance.
