Analog Empire: Brass and Winds is a dual-layer instrument for producers who want synthesized horns, winds and related textures. Each of its two layers, Sound A and Sound B, has its own pitch, Drift and Unison controls, so you can combine layers into tight leads or wide, detuned ensembles. Sound Design and Layering

The instrument is built on more than 30 multi-sampled real analog synth sources. You can load a different sound into each of the two layers and set each one independently for pitch, analog-style Drift and Unison.

This layout makes it possible to stack sounds for thicker ensembles or keep layers narrow for focused lead lines. Layer controls and the Lo-Fi Tape effect add character to these sounds, and the developer describes the result as a blend of classic analog warmth and modern sound design.

Effects and Master Section

The FX page includes Tremolo, Flanger, Chorus, Delay and Reverb, with a Shimmer control on the reverb for airy, pitched tails. A Lo-Fi Tape effect adds Dust, Filter and Warmth controls for a vintage tone.

The master section provides HP and LP filters, a 3-band EQ, one-knob Compress, Saturate and Maximize controls, a stereo Width control and a mono switch. Fully MPE compatible, it also responds to expressive MIDI performance data.
