VPS Avenger 2 Expansion - African House 1 is a preset expansion for the VPS Avenger synthesizer by Vengeance Sound, adding 150 presets plus drums, samples, shapes and arp patterns.
This expansion from Vengeance Sound is built around African-influenced electronic music. It includes 150 Avenger presets with warm synth textures, organic percussion, driving basslines, soulful melodies and ethnic vocals. The developer draws on the electronic scenes of South Africa and Western House and Melodic Techno. Producers working in Afro House, Deep House, Melodic Techno or Amapiano-influenced styles will find material aimed at those genres.
The pack adds 125 new multisamples and 43 new granular samples to the Avenger library. According to the developer, many of the sounds were recorded from real ethnic instruments, including flutes and drums, along with new vocals from African singers.
The rhythm material is covered by 29 new drumkits and sequences. The pack also includes 150 new arp patterns and 5 new shapes, giving you rhythmic and modulation starting points alongside the presets.
African House 1 suits producers who want ready-made tones and rhythms for Afro House, Deep House and Melodic Techno. The preset set and arp patterns can serve as a starting point for building your own sounds and grooves.
The expansion requires VPS Avenger, and the developer states that VPS Avenger version 2.3.0 or later is needed to use it.
