Leap Expansion – Soul Choir: Vocal Loops and One Shots for Kontakt

The expansion splits its material into two groups. The loops section contains 75 vocal loops, covering female choir, female solo, male choir, male solo, mixed choir and phoneme material, along with one drum loop and two synth loops.

The one shots section adds 81 vocal hits across female choir, female solo, male solo and mixed choir categories, plus one percussion sound. Because the content is sorted by voicing, you can quickly find a female harmony, a male lead or a mixed choir layer without auditioning the whole library.

The total download is 222 MB, which keeps the expansion small compared with larger sample libraries.

Native Instruments says the Leap series is built around performance effects. Within the expansion you can twist pitch, warp speed and slice loops from the keyboard, which makes it easier to turn a static vocal phrase into a rhythmic or melodic part.

This suits producers who build hooks, chops and vocal textures by reworking material rather than only triggering it as recorded. The one shots are useful for building custom melodies or stabs from individual vocal sounds.

Soul Choir fits producers working in genres where vocal harmony and gospel-influenced textures play a role. Choir loops can add depth to a chorus or breakdown, while solo loops and one shots suit ad-libs and sparse hooks.

Because the library is a Kontakt expansion rather than a standalone instrument, it works as a sound source inside your existing Kontakt setup and host DAW.
