Leap Expansion - Melodic Trap: Kontakt Preset Pack by Native Instruments

Native Instruments describes Melodic Trap as ambient synth pads, ethereal vocal textures, deep basses and dreamy piano, all drenched in reverb. The loop library is weighted toward vocals, with 45 vocal loops, followed by 21 synth misc, 19 bass, 16 SFX, 14 piano and keys, and 12 guitar loops.

The pack also includes 10 synth lead loops, 7 kalimba loops, and smaller sets of brass, mallet, organ, pluck, synth pad and drum material. That spread makes it suited to building a full chilled trap arrangement from one source, with the vocal and pad layers providing the mood and the bass and drums carrying the groove.

The wider Leap series is built around pitch twists, speed warps and loop slicing, controlled from the keyboard. Native Instruments describes these playful performance effects as a way to spark happy accidents during writing.
