Leap Expansion - Italo Disco is part of Native Instruments' Leap Expansions line, built around a retro-futuristic take on the Italo disco sound. The pack gathers loops across bass, drums, synth leads, synth pads and more, along with one-shot drum and sound effect hits. The developer describes it as capturing the golden-era feel of the genre. It runs inside Kontakt, and the Leap series is designed for playful performance with features such as pitch, speed and slicing controls.

The expansion requires Kontakt. You can use the free Kontakt Player or the full Kontakt software. An internet connection is needed to download, install and activate the product, but it can be used offline afterward.
