01Overview

VPS Q4ntum is built around three fully independent delay engines that can also run as live effects processors. Each engine holds up to three simultaneous insert effects, so you can stack layered processing chains. A master section adds three more effects, a dedicated reverb and a limiter to finish the signal path. Vengeance Sound presents Q4ntum as the next generation of its Vengeance Producer Suite multi-effects line, with a focus on depth that stays quick to operate.

Modulation and Sound Design with Q4ntum

The most distinctive part of Q4ntum is its modulation system. Any parameter can be animated with a tempo-synced step sequencer or a flexible n-point envelope, and both stay locked to your DAW's tempo. This makes it possible to move from subtle, slow changes to tightly rhythmic transformations.

Because the modulation is applied to every parameter, the plugin can be used for evolving effects that change over the course of a phrase as well as for more dynamic, performance-style processing.

Workflow and Signal Path

Q4ntum's signal path runs from the three delay engines, each with up to three insert effects, through a master section with three further effects, a reverb and a limiter. The routing lets you build complex chains without leaving the plugin.

Vengeance Sound describes the interface as streamlined and easy to experiment with, aimed at producing everything from delay effects and textures to heavier sound mangling.
