VPS Avenger 2 Upgrade from VPS Avenger: Synth by Vengeance Sound

Vengeance Sound describes version 2.0 as a major evolution of the synth. The new Spectral module works on an FFT base and offers seven algorithms, along with a spectral expander that compresses FFT frequencies. A Single Loop module plays any single WAV loop and matches its tempo automatically, and a drum loop module adds loop playback with zplane timestretch to the drumkit module.

The arp gains a randomizer that can vary note pitch, note length, silent gaps, octaves, velocity, ratchets and slides, with an Auto Dice option that creates a new random pattern at each pattern end. Arp notes can now be subdivided with ratchets, and arp patterns can be exported as MIDI files.

New effects in version 2.0 include Q4ntum, a 4x multitap delay with three automatable, time-synced effect slots per delay and three master effects, and BitBite, a bit destroyer with feedback and drive. RutaVerb adds five new reverbs, including an Abyss algorithm for dense, long reverbs, and a Shimmer feature with transpose and feedback is available in RutaVerb, AA Reverb and V-Verb.

The Factory 2 sound library contains 250 presets, new samples, wavetables, shapes, drumkits and over 3000 drum loops. Existing skins, expansions and custom sounds remain compatible, according to the developer.
