Saturation, Compression and Bitcrushing in One Plugin
Volt's Heat knob adds warm, asymmetrical tube-like saturation. Low settings give gentle coloration, while higher settings push the signal into thicker, amplifier-style fuzz and overdrive.
The Crush knob works on the underlying audio bits to create crunchy digital artifacts and edgy textures. Keep it low for added bite, or raise it for glitchy bitcrushed effects.
The Charge knob applies multi-band compression in a style similar to OTT compression. Low settings add subtle brightening and dynamic punch, and higher settings add a more pronounced lift with mild saturation. Each algorithm can be used individually or combined, and filters, color and contour controls help shape the result.
